Toutenhoofd wins state award for phy ed
Depending on your age, some gym classes ranged from dodgeball to what felt like just an extra recess.

Michael, Girdaukas among league’s best
Five Kohler/Lutheran/Christian football players made all-conference, including two with some impressive stats.
Sophomores Robby Michael (quarterback) and Colin Girdaukas (receiver) made first-team all-Big East Conference in their first season as starters.
State cross country goes on without Lutheran
The state cross country meet was held Saturday, and Jeff Jurss thought something was missing.
The Sheboygan Lutheran coach said his boys team should have been at the race in Wisconsin Rapids, but the Crusaders missed qualifying for state by 12 points.
North produces another player of the year
For the second straight season, one of the co-players of the year in the Fox River Classic Conference is from Sheboygan North.
Kansas State freshman Dru Kuck received the volleyball award last year and junior Lizzy Binder earned it this season.
The league always picks two players of the year and it had an easy choice in Binder.
No scoring allowed: Biebel excels as shutdown defender
Soccer defenders usually do not have gaudy stats.
Sheboygan North senior Ryan Biebel scored twice this season, but that is not the reason the defender made first-team all-Fox River Classic Conference for the first time.
