MADISON. – The Wisconsin Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Office of Open Government (OOG) has prepared the following advisory in response to inquiries as to the applicability of the Wisconsin’s open meetings law, Wis. Stat. §§ 19.81 to 19.98, in light of current public health concerns regarding COVID-19. This advisory is provided pursuant to Wis. Stat. § 19.98.

Great Lakes remain at record high levels
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District, announces that despite a dry month of February across the Great Lakes basin, water levels on each of the Great Lakes remain very high going into the spring. Lakes Superior, Michigan, Huron, and Erie set new monthly records for February 2020. The records were previously set on lakes Superior, Michigan and Huron in 1986, and in 1987 on Lake Erie.
Campuses plan online classes to help check virus spread
UW-Green Bay continues to monitor the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and strategize to keep students, faculty and staff safe from potential transmission. Sheboygan firm takes to the air to study the Earth
For an aerial survey company, Quantum Spatial sure has a knack for flying under the radar.
The geospatial firm operates all over the country and even internationally, working with government and private industry to map out and provide data on a litany of services including disaster response, infrastructure planning and road mapping to name a few. Its main flight operations and maintenance branch operates out of a hangar at the Sheboygan County Memorial Airport.

A’s name new skipper
Tim Moyer, who has been around the Sheboygan A’s since he was about 6 years old, is the new manager of the baseball team.
Moyer was the bench coach for manager Derek Loomans, but he resigned after the season because he accepted a teaching job in Fond du Lac. Loomans will continue to pitch for the A’s when he is available, however.
Red Raiders feature four all-Fox River Classic players
Four Sheboygan co-op hockey players made the all-conference team, highlighted by Tyler Sunagel’s selection.
The Plymouth junior earned second-team all-Fox River Classic, and honorable mention went to Kohler junior Maclane Schick, Manitowoc Roncalli sophomore Will Falconer and Sheboygan Falls sophomore Jack Louko.
