Proposed county budget cuts tax rate for fourth year
The proposed 2020 Sheboygan County Budget will be distributed to the County Board on October 22 and includes a property tax levy increase of 2.41%, or $1,190,690. The proposed property tax rate is $5.22, a decrease of 1.43%, or 8 cents, from the 2019 rate of $5.30. As a result, on a $100,000 home, property taxes will decrease $8.
