Dave Veldhorst plans on running the Chicago and New York Marathons in a span of three weeks in the fall.
That must seem easy, considering the assistant cross country coach at Christian ran marathons in Boston and London in seven days this past spring.

Art teacher travels overseas to aid others in vision care

Matt Holman has been to Africa six times.
The Lutheran High School art teacher has slept with a mosquito net around his bed to avoid malaria and yellow fever. He’s had rooms without running water or electricity, usually warm drinks because a lack of ice, and food that’s been carefully checked over to avoid sickness.
