However, it is a rare occasion that a business has what it takes to mark a century in business. Such is the case for Bitter Neumann in Sheboygan in 2022, which recently marked 100 years in business on Jan. 17.

Illinois has collected more than $400 million in tax revenue from recreational marijuana sales in 2021, and Michigan has collected nearly $250 million.

Wisconsin still bans the drug in most forms, but the legislature continues to flirt with legalizing medical marijuana.
