Railroad museum open house set
The Sheboygan Society of Scale Model Railroad Engineers is hosting its Summer Open House, Train Show and Brat Fry, Saturday and Sunday, July 20th and 21st. This family friendly event will be held at the Sheboygan Railroad Museum, 1001 N. 10th St., Sheboygan, from 9:00am to 4:00pm each day.

Fascinating works of art, music by Chicken Wire Empire (center), and fun art making will highlight Midsummer Festival of the Arts, July 20-21 at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center.
Now in its 49th year, the festival is held on the Arts Center grounds at 608 New York Ave. in downtown Sheboygan, Wis.

Restaurant of the Month: Fork and Dagger Ale Haus
I must admit that when I enter a new restaurant with the word “ale” in the name my expectations for the quality of the food are not that high. What usually comes to mind are generic nachos, wings and mozzarella sticks. But the Fork & Dagger Ale Haus in Kiel turns out to be the best exception!
Sheboygan County Tennis Association to hold events
The Sheboygan County Tennis Association will host the Doug Opel Memorial Junior Championships July 26-27 at Sports Core in Kohler.
It is open to any boy or girl 18 years old and under, and players of all skill levels are encouraged to participate.
Barnstable, Berger, Meyer to play for Wombats
Three players from Sheboygan will compete on the UW-Sheboygan men’s basketball team next season.
Two are from reigning state champion Lutheran (guards Delvin Barnstable and Mike Berger) and one is from South (forward Preston Meyer).
