There’s two restaurants you’ll likely find Sheboygan South’s Vanessa Ziegler at, unless they have certain decorations up this month.
The senior, who is wrapping up her fourth varsity season on the tennis team and also plays basketball and soccer for the Redwings, is the latest to partake in “20 questions.”
Q: Can you name the best restaurant in the area?
A: Everyone that knows me knows I love Culver’s with a passion. Other than that, I really like Chili’s. I go there all the time with my sisters.
Q: What scares you the most?
A: Anything Halloween-related. Witches, haunted houses, any of that stuff. Clowns running around.
Q: If you were principal for a day, what would you do?
A: Start school later.
Q: What’s the funniest thing that’s happened to you at one of your jobs?
A: Well I work with the rec department, so I work with a lot of kids. One little boy that I had in my gymnastics class asked if I could be his girlfriend.
Q: What’s the most trouble you’ve ever gotten into?
A: Probably just being late for curfew.
Q: If you could be or do anything for a living, what would it be?
A: I think I’d be a pediatric nurse at this point.
Q: What is a hidden talent you have?
A: I’m really good at throwing a football. Not many girls are good at that.
Q: What was the most embarrassing moment for you in any sport?
A: I’ve fallen over before, trying to dive for a ball or completely missing a ball, which is pretty embarrassing.
Q: Favorite movie?
A: We Bought A Zoo.
Q: What is the one TV show you always have to watch?
A: Grey’s Anatomy.
Q: Can you name the best band or musician of all time?
A: OneRepublic.
Q: What is the song you enjoy the most but are afraid to admit?
A: Any country songs. Most high schoolers have a strong dislike for country.
Q: How would you describe your bedroom?
A: Right now it’s really messy and I need to clean it. My favorite color is blue so it has a lot of blue in it.
Q: If you won the lottery, what would you do?
A: Move somewhere warmer.
Q: What’s the video game no one can beat you at?
A: Mario Kart. They just came out with one for your phone you can play. I’m really good at that game.
Q: What school subject is your least favorite?
A: Social studies. Remembering dates and important people in history has always been a challenge for me since I don’t have the best memory.
Q: What celebrity do you have a crush on?
A: Shawn Mendes.
Q: Favorite and least-favorite athlete?
A: Favorite would be Roger Federer. Least favorite? Anyone on the Bears’ team.
Q: What is the biggest pet peeve or superstition you have?
A: Pet peeve is pronouncing words wrong or saying something not grammatically correct.
Q: What’s the longest you’ve been without a cell phone and how did you survive?
A: Like half a day, maybe? I don’t know. I’d say I’m pretty attached to my phone but I can deal with it.
