Track and field meet was held over the weekend in La Crosse

brock kovacicGolfers weren’t the only ones busy the past few days at state.

A handful of track and field athletes participated in the State Track and Field Meet at UW-Lacrosse as well (deadline prevented the paper from having results, but they are available at http://www.sheboyganbeacon.com).

Sheboygan South had three seniors at the meet, including University of Wisconsin recruit Brock Kovacic, who placed fourth in the Division 1 pole vault last year.

UW-Oshkosh recruit Austin Boeldt competed in the 400- and 800-yard runs, and Savannah Ellis was also in the pole vault.

Two North juniors went to Division 1 state, too.

Cassius Rohadfox took part in the shot put and Madeline Green was in the pole vault.

Kohler/Christian had one representative in Division 2, as senior Max Holmes took part of the 1,600 run.

In Division 3, Lutheran junior Carly Schreurs qualified in the triple jump and the long jump, and senior Aaron TenPas ran the 400.

Freshman Logan Zak and sophomores Hans Gruben, Aidan Diener, so Matthew Witte were on the 3,200 relay team, and the 1,600 relay consisted of Zak, TenPas, Gruben, and sophomore Bobby Holland.
