Oostburg State Bank is proud to announce a donation of $75,000 to the Oostburg School District in support of the Oostburg School District’s ongoing capital improvements.

The donation will be used for a new community fitness center, and in return, the Oostburg School District has granted Oostburg State Bank with naming rights to the new fitness center, which will be called the Oostburg State Bank Fitness Center.

“Although the current community fitness center will be closing the week of May 17, we look forward to the opening of our new Oostburg State Bank Fitness Center in February of 2022,” said Kevin Bruggink, Superintendent, Oostburg School District.

The new Oostburg State Bank Fitness Center will be over 4,000 square feet and feature state-of-the-art Life Fitness and Hammer Strength equipment, along with large windows across the west-facing exterior wall which will provide optimal natural lighting throughout the space.

“One of our core values is community focus and we actively invest in our community to ensure a bright future,” said Eric Glewen, President and CEO, Oostburg State Bank.

“Oostburg State Bank is delighted to be able to support the Oostburg School District in the proposed improvements for the high school facility and we are confident that this project will indeed result in a brighter future for our entire community.”

“We are grateful for Oostburg State Bank’s generous gift supporting this new space and look forward to the opening of the new facility,” said Bruggink.
