The North-South rivalry continued Dec. 21, and the Golden Raiders’ girls claimed their 24th consecutive win over the Redwings, 58-49.
North’s seven-game winning streak over South’s boys was halted, however, as Josh Govek scored 23 points in the Redwings’ 53-50 victory.
The Golden Eagles led by eight with about 6 minutes remaining.
“We didn’t do a great job of taking care of the ball in the second half,” North coach Eric Worth said.
