Three arrested for multiple vehicle break-ins

Sheboygan Police made three arrests regarding several overnight car entries. At approximately 2:45 AM, an off-duty Sheboygan Police Officer reported witnessing subjects breaking into vehicles in the Fellowship Neighborhood on the city’s northwest side. He was able to obtain a description of the vehicle and license plate number as the suspects fled the area.

About a half hour later, other officers located the vehicle parked at the Meijer gas station, occupied by three Milwaukee men, all of whom are 18 years old. The officers observed property consistent with thefts from vehicles, and upon questioning the men admitted they had come to Sheboygan overnight to steal from vehicles.

Officers are inventorying dozens of items of property seized from the suspects, and based on the items recovered it appears that multiple thefts may have occurred in many neighborhoods across the city. Officers will be contacting owners of property that could be identified, but any other residents who became the victim of a theft from their vehicle are encouraged to contact the Police Department at 920-459-3333 with a description of any missing property.

All three men were referred to the district attorney’s office for charges of theft and attempted theft as party to a crime, and were taken to the Sheboygan County Detention Center in lieu of bond.
