Love INC of Sheboygan County is set to hold its second annual Living Out Love event Friday, Oct. 25, at Pine Hills Country Club in Sheboygan.
The event, which is designed to engage Love INC’s mission to help partnered churches help people of all Christian denominations throughout Sheboygan County, will begin with a reception and silent auction from 5:30-6:30 p.m., followed by a dinner from 6:30-7:30 p.m. with a program and live auction to cap off the evening designed to benefit Love INC Ministries.
“The night will start off with registration and social hour, dinner, a short program to help people in the community better understand the pillars of Love INC, followed by live and reverse auctions,” Living Out Love Co-Chair Sue Prange said. “Silent auction items will be on display also.
“This year’s Living Out Love theme will be ‘Transforming From The Inside Out,’ where we wish to highlight how helping neighbors in need through relationships can be transformative for both the giver and the receiver,” Living Out Love Co-Chair Sue Prange said.
Love INC of Sheboygan County will also be debuting a new video and welcoming a special guest speaker, focusing on the impact of the Love INC Transformational Ministry Program, which is dedicated on entering into mentoring relationships with those seeking to obtain greater self-sufficiency.
Participants in the Transformational Ministry Program complete classes focused on setting and achieving goals, developing untapped resources within an individual and fostering self-discovery on how an individual can become their best self in the image created by God.
“There will be a short video shown during the program highlighting and explaining Love INC’s Transformational Ministry Program, along with a guest speaker, who will share her journey in the Transformational Ministry Program,” Prange said.
Love INC of Sheboygan County, which is one of 157 Love In The Name of Christ (INC) affiliates in the United States, was initially formed out of a faith-based vision team established at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls in 2010.
Officially launched in 2013, Love INC of Sheboygan County’s mission is to help partnered churches help people in ways that change their lives to move towards a life reaching full potential.
Love INC, which moved its office from Sheboygan to 807 Forest Ave. in Sheboygan Falls in August 2018, offers an opportunity for community members to connect with caring individuals who model Christian beliefs through all interactions.
“Living Out Love is our main fundraising event for the year,” Prange said. “It is an evening in which we have an opportunity to educate, share some successes and also reach out to the community. Our goal is to help our supporters better understand the mission of Love INC, and how they can put their faith into action.”
Living Out Love Co-Chair Michelle Blanke is eager for the opportunity to display all that Love INC of Sheboygan County has to offer to the community on Oct. 25, as the organization has set a goal of attracting 175 to 200 guests to the annual event.
The registration fee is $75 per guest and $600 for a table of eight.
“Anyone who takes a moment to realize how they have been blessed in their life, should also take a moment to think how they could give back for those blessings, whether it be with time, talent or treasure,” Blanke said. “We encourage everyone in the community to come learn more about Love INC and what has already been accomplished in Sheboygan County in four short years.
“It will reaffirm your faith in people working together to help change lives of neighbors in need as they strive to get out of need and become self-sufficient again,” she said. “We are fortunate to have a beautiful venue at Pine Hills for our event, and we have put together some amazing auction packages that are one of a kind. We invite everyone join us for a very special evening.”
