Art show featuring Sheboygan County scenes opens Friday

Have guests or family coming to visit? Looking for interesting perspectives on where to go in Sheboygan County? 25+ Sheboygan area artists have teamed up to recommend an array of “Hidden Gems and Favorite Places in Sheboygan County”.

Sheboygan Visual Artists have taken on the challenge of putting their perspective on Sheboygan County and lending their artistic eyes to their favorite places and some places that are little known. The result is over 100 original art works that depict Sheboygan County’s most visit worthy places and happenings. Tim Ebenreiter, exhibit chairman, said “I’ve been a Sheboyganite my entire lifetime and I’m extremely impressed with this unique, artistic view of Sheboygan County. There’s nothing like seeing your home town through the eyes of talented artists”.

Migrating pelicans in Springtime, the Sheboygan lighthouse under stormy skies, Blue Harbor Resort and places of interest on the shores of Lake Michigan and a myriad of other interesting scenes will be on display during this unique, hometown art exhibit.

The art exhibit opens at 6:00 pm on Friday, June 28th at EBCO Artworks, 1201 Erie Ave in Sheboygan. This family friendly exhibit will include original paintings, photography, pottery, fabric and jewelry. Admission is free, as are tasty snacks. Beverages are avaie at extremely affordable prices.

The exhibit will continue on weekends through July 14. Weekend gallery hours are 11:00am to 3:00 pm.
