Lowdown

* The Crusaders placed fifth at Division 3 state.

* Junior Drake Wilcox took third and was named conference golfer of the year.

* Three others who also made all-conference return in senior Emma Egbert (second team), sophomore Andrew Meador (third team) and senior Devin Madson (third team).

* Junior Joel Hacker and sophomore Lizzy Montaba will also contribute.

SHEBOYGAN NORTH

FRCC Meet: 1st place

Lowdown

* The Golden Raiders tied for eighth at Division 1 state.

* Senior Austin Thyes placed 25th individually and received honorable mention on the all-state team.

* Senior Max Schmidtke is also back after making third-team all-state. He took second at conference and was tabbed the league’s golfer of the year.

* Conference champion Drew Gallimore and sixth-place finisher Garrett Schultz graduated.

SHEBOYGAN SOUTH

FRCC Meet: 11th place

* The team has to replace its top golfer, Blake Poseiwitz, who graduated.

* Four other golfers return, including senior Nic Prahl.

* Juniors Noah Meisfield and Connor Thun, and sophomore Nic Kolar are also back.
