Vorpahl pitches rare no-hitter for North
The last time North’s baseball team threw a no-hitter was in 2009.

That changed April 23 when Ben Vorpahl tossed one in a 4-0 victory at Bay Port.
It is also the only shutout of the season for the Golden Raiders.
Track and field coaches welcome freshmen to varsity
Some freshmen were lost.
They would go out for high school sports like track and field and have to be taught what a shot put, discus or pole vault was because Sheboygan middle schools did not offer those activities.
Baumgart set for hall of fame induction
Sheboygan’s Rick Baumgart will be inducted into the Sheboygan County Baseball Association’s Hall of Fame on Wednesday.
Plymouth’s Rick Meyer will also be inducted during a banquet that begins at 5:30 p.m. at Town and Country Golf Club in Sheboygan.
