It was a spectacular late summer day when the Kohler Center for Marsh Education was dedicated on September 7, 2022. The Friends of the Marsh welcomed local dignitaries and the large donors to an open house reception at the facility. All were amazed and pleased with the beautiful building that had been in the works for over ten years at the Broughton Sheboygan County Marsh Park.
Today we gather with family and friends to honor the legacy of Dr. Raymond Evers and his profound impact on the well-being of others.
First, some of you may be wondering, how did this tribute come about?
Every year when the Making Spirits Bright event begins, groups contact the committee and learn that all nights have been filled. This year there are three rare timeslots that have not been claimed making this a great opportunity for those who have wanted to be part of the event in the past.
