For the second straight season, the Sheboygan A’s played in the Wisconsin Class A State Tournament.
Sheboygan took on Appleton on Saturday (after deadline) in the first round of the double-elimination tourney. West Allis and Kewaskum were also at the event, held at USA Sports Complex in Appleton.
The A’s entered the weekend on a seven-game winning streak and having won 10 of their previous 11 outings.
They clinched a spot at state on Wednesday, when Jared Reklaitis lowered his earned run average to 0.45 – a single-season team record – in a victory at Burlington.
