Harry Steldt picked up his 400th run batted in last Tuesday and helped the Sheboygan A’s to a 9-1 win against Green Bay. He ranks fourth all-time in the history of the baseball team, and the three ahead of him are in the A’s hall of fame.
Pitcher Blake Kunz also contributed by striking out 17 batters in eight innings, which ranks seventh all-time in an A’s game. The team record is 21 and has stood since 1965.
On Saturday, Jared Reklaitis faced just two batters over the minimum in a 2-0 victory over Burlington. He gave up four hits and struck out nine.
This past weekend, Sheboygan wrapped up the regular season with a four-game set against Addison (after deadline).
