Big money raised to combat cancer

AND THEY’RE OFF! – Participants in the 43rd annual American Cancer Society Run/Walk returned to Road America Saturday Nov. 6, after the event was held virtually last year due to the pandemic. There were over 1,800 community members and cancer fighters at this year’s event, which raised awareness and $145,728 for the American Cancer Society, with some donations still coming in. In the 43 years this race has been happening it has raised over $4.6 million for the American Cancer Society. — Photo by Les Tension
