Andrew Viglietti has been hired as the Sheboygan A’s first executive director.
The organization has worked exclusively with volunteers since its inception in 1962.
Viglietti has led both the Humane Society of Sheboygan County and the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice.
“Andrew brings the professionalism and experience we need to take the A’s to the next level,” said Sheboygan Athletic Club President Scott Stangel.
“His demonstrated not-for-profit leadership experience, combined with his fundraising background, suit our needs perfectly.”
Viglietti will be tasked with leading the organization, including its day-to-day operations and strategic planning.
He brings a strong fundraising background to the club, having led numerous successful capital campaigns as well as yearly campaign drives.
“This is a great opportunity to combine a passion of mine, baseball, with my skills and experiences, and my true driving focus, to make Sheboygan a better place,” Viglietti said. “The Sheboygan A’s have a bright future and I am excited to be on board.”
