The Wisconsin State Baseball League handed out awards last week, and two of the five went to Sheboygan A’s.
Brad Rindfleisch was tabbed most valuable pitcher and the manager of the year went to Tim Moyer.
Findfleisch, who pitched at UW-Stout, posted a 1.45 earned run average in five starts and relief appearances. He was 4-0 and struck out 60 in 37 innings.
Moyer, in his first year at the helm, guided the A’s to a second-place finish in the league with a 16-7 record.
Lombard’s Jake Novak was chosen as most valuable player.
Winners were determined by a vote of league general managers and personnel.
