Beating GBND one of Pethan’s highlights

20 Questions: ELLIOT PETHAN

ELLIOT PETHAN

South’s Elliot Pethan missed out on his fourth varsity baseball season this past spring after also competing on the football and basketball teams for the Redwings.

The recent graduate, who wants a business degree at UWGB-Sheboygan and then plans on attending Wisconsin, took time Thursday to answer 20 questions.

Q: What was the most embarrassing moment for you in any sport?

A: Basketball when I was younger, probably like in seventh grade, I rebounded one of the other team’s free throws. I put it back up and scored for the wrong team.

Q: Favorite high school memory?

A: Beating (Green Bay) Notre Dame 14-0 in football.

Q: When classes were held at home in the spring, who from your family drove you crazy or were you the culprit?

A: I actually had a foreign exchange student (from the Czech Republic) and he never sits still. So he always wanted to do something. I’d be working on homework and he’d want to go for a walk or something. He kind of drove me crazy once in a while.

Q: How much did you miss going to class?

A: Not much until it kind of hit me that I wasn’t going to know when the last time I was sitting in my desk was.

Q: What was your favorite school subject?

A: Probably science. It’s interesting and there’s a lot to learn about. Everything that the world operates on is science.

Q: What is a typical day for you now?

A: We are currently renovating a couple of rental properties, so we’re hanging drywall and then I’ll go for a run in the afternoon. Maybe play some Xbox.

Q: What’s the funniest thing that’s happened at one of your jobs?

A: Working with two of my other buddies, and we were vacuuming so it was really loud and nobody could really hear each other. We’d go up behind and scare each other.

Q: What is a hidden talent you have?

A: I can do a back flip.

Q: Besides a phone, what two other things would you want if you’re stuck on an island?

A: Food and water.

A: Big and empty; I’m too lazy to do anything with it.

Q: What’s the one place in the world you would like to travel to?

A: Iceland to see the Northern Lights and the hot springs.

Q: What is the most trouble you’ve ever gotten into?

A: I stole a street sign and my dad had me put it back up.

Q: What scares you the most?

A: Heights. Definitely heights.

Q: If you could be anything or do anything for a living, what would it be?

A: Travel the world, adventuring, seeing new things every day.

A: The Charcoal Inn.

Q: You can have dinner there with any three people – dead or alive. Who are they?

A: Kobe Bryant, my girlfriend and Michael Jordan.

Q: What’s the best band or musician of all time?

A: I don’t know about all time, but my favorite right now is Luke Combs.

Q: What is the song you enjoy the most but are afraid to admit?

A: Lovin’ on You by Luke Combs.

Q: What is the one TV show you always have to watch?

A: Kylie Jenner.
