[Update: located] Sheriff’s Dept. issues alert for missing 16 year old

Update: The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department issued a statement at 10:55 p.m. Saturday stating that the teen has been located, and thanking the media and the public for assistance. No additional details were provided.

The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department issued an alert for a missing 16 year old boy at 2:33 a.m. Saturday morning.

The department later clarified that they have no reason to believe the boy is in imminent danger, and they are simply trying to locate him for his family. He is described in the update as “missing / runaway.” The department said no foul play is suspected.

The department said “we are only asking if anyone knows of his whereabouts, please contact the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department.” Their phone number is (920) 459-3111.

Identified as Brandon Bruss, the boy was said to have last been seen Feb. 6 at 6 p.m. after he left to go to PetSmart in Sheboygan. He is described in the alert as 5′ 4″ tall, about 125 lbs and last seen wearing a black hoodie with Nike on it and blue jeans. He was driving a blue Trailblazer with a black tailgate, according to the alert.
