Rooftop cops encourage pie-ing of fellow officers

Officers from the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department took to the rooftop of Dunkin’ Donuts on South Business Drive, Sheboygan, the morning of Friday Aug. 16 to help raise money for Special Olympics Wisconsin. Fellow officers volunteered to get a cream pie in the face, with a donation, for the cause.

Special Olympics Wisconsin (SOWI) provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

More information is available and donations can be made at the SOWI website.

On the roof were Lt. Gottsacker, left, and Sgt. Cram, with Special Olympics athletes and “Cuppie” the Dunkin’ Donuts mascot.

Lt. Matt Spence poses post pie to the face.
Jori Kapla of the Beacon Staff serves one up to Eric Brushert, Sheboygan County Deputy Sheriff.
