The Sheboygan North soccer team is rolling.
The Golden Raiders defeated Sheboygan South, 9-0, Tuesday at Lakeland for its fifth win in a row – all shutouts.
The Redwings had allowed a total of just 10 goals all year, but Emma Belmore finished with two goals and an assist.
Teammates Kendal Herzog and Lizzie Revelis also added two goals apiece to give North a 7-2 record.
The Golden Raiders, 2-0 in the Fox River Classic Conference, scored six times in the first half.
Belmore and Herzog got both of theirs, Revelis got one and teammate Taylor Peper’s goal was the first of the game.
In the second half, Maggie Mueller scored first and that was followed with goals from Revelis and Taylor Gutschow.
South is 1-2 in the league and 4-5-1 overall after its four-game winning streak was halted by goalkeeper Meredith Opie.
