How the county keeps roads clear while saving money
Sheboygan County Transportation Department Director Greg Schnell explained to The Review that the anti-icing solution they are applying to the roads is salt brine, which is a mixture of salt and water. The county produces all of the brine in house and has the storage capacity for 182,500 gallons.
