Rindfleisch leads A’s

Brad Rindfleisch was hard to hit last Tuesday.

The Sheboygan A’s pitcher struck out 17 and allowed just two hits in eight innings of a 4-1 victory over the De Pere Dodgers at Wildwood Park. He had a no-hitter with one out in the top of the sixth.

Sheboygan, which competed in the Wisconsin Amateur Baseball Classic this past weekend, got three hits – including a solo home run – from Jake Arens.

Speaking of pitching: The team has allowed a total of only five runs in winning its last four games.

Overall, Drew Nuanes is 3-0 with a 2.19 earned run average. He has allowed 21 hits in 25 innings.

Check your schedule: The team has rescheduled two games that were rained out.

The June 12 home contest against Green Bay will be made up at 7:30 p.m. on July 26. The June 18 road game in Appleton is now Monday.

The rainout from June 24 against Menasha still has to be rescheduled.
